Entirely new to the SWISS network, both served from Zurich, will be Poznań in Poland and Rijeka on Croatia’s Adriatic coast. Further innovations include an intensified daily service between Zurich and Tokyo in the spring and fall months. And soccer fans will enjoy non-stop flights – multiple times a day in some cases – to US and Canadian destinations hosting matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) will begin its first-ever services to Poznań in Poland on 29 March 2026. The new three-times-weekly service will operate on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays. Poland’s fifth-largest city stands on the Warta River and, with its university and its historic Old Town, is regarded as one of the most attractive in the country. The city also features a lively trade fair scene. So the new SWISS services from Zurich are aimed both at the business community and at leisure travelers who prefer to steer clear of the more familiar tourist trails.

SWISS will also newly offer its customers scheduled services to Rijeka in Croatia in the July and August peak summer months. Idyllically located on the beautiful Kvarner Gulf, the Adriatic port city boasts fine beaches and crystal-clear waters, along with appealing Mediterranean flair.
