We are yet to receive the complaint sample from the Complainant as the account is unreachable,\u201d the company said.<\/p>\n<p>The company said it had already submitted a detailed representation to the relevant authorities. <\/p>\n<p>The statement comes after news reports emerged that the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has taken cognisance of complaints circulating on social media and issued a notice to Nestl\u00e9 India, seeking a detailed Action Taken Report (ATR) on the matter.<\/p>\n<p>The FMCG major said it maintains stringent food safety and quality standards across its manufacturing operations and remains fully transparent with regulators. According to the company, quality analysis was conducted on both batch and market samples, which were also sent to an FSSAI-accredited laboratory for testing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have performed our quality analysis on batch and market samples, for a comprehensive investigation to FSSAI Accredited lab and the report confirms with the quality standards including confirmation of absence of infestation of any nature,\u201d Nestl\u00e9 India said.<\/p>\n<p>The company added that it is confident the facts and evidence submitted to authorities will establish the matter conclusively. &#8220;Nestl\u00e9 India maintains stringent quality and food safety standards across its manufacturing operations. We remain fully transparent with the authorities and are confident that the facts and evidence will conclusively establish the truth of the matter,&#8221; the statement read. <\/p>\n<p>The development weighed on investor sentiment. Shares of Nestl\u00e9 India declined more than 3% after reports of the regulatory notice surfaced on Friday, June 12.
