Vance and Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, <a style=\"color: rgb(53, 152, 219);\" href=\"https:\/\/caliber.az\/en\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Caliber.Az<\/a> reports <a href=\"https:\/\/ria.ru\/20260616\/iran-2099178581.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">via<\/a> foreign media.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"399\" data-end=\"534\">The announcement was made by Majid Takht-Ravanchi, Iran\u2019s deputy foreign minister, who said preparations for the signing are under way.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"536\" data-end=\"705\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">If confirmed, the agreement would represent a significant diplomatic step between Washington and Tehran following years of strained relations and periodic confrontation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"274\">Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi <a style=\"color: rgb(53, 152, 219);\" href=\"https:\/\/caliber.az\/en\/post\/iran-confirms-switzerland-meeting-to-sign-historic-agreement-with-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">announced<\/a> that the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aimed at ending tensions between Iran and the United States, is expected to be signed in Switzerland on 19 June.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"276\" data-end=\"442\">He said delegations from both countries will meet to formalise the agreement, after which follow-up negotiations will begin, according to Iranian state media reports.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"444\" data-end=\"673\">Araghchi stressed that Tehran is approaching the process cautiously, citing what he described as a record of US non-compliance and withdrawal from previous agreements.
