{"id":86470,"date":"2026-06-18T04:14:19","date_gmt":"2026-06-18T04:14:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/86470\/"},"modified":"2026-06-18T04:14:19","modified_gmt":"2026-06-18T04:14:19","slug":"sanity-group-deepens-swiss-footprint-with-astrasana-distribution-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ch\/86470\/","title":{"rendered":"Sanity Group Deepens Swiss Footprint With Astrasana Distribution Deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/businessofcannabis.com\/?keyword=Sanity+Group\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sanity Group<\/a> has announced a new distribution partnership with Swiss cannabis operator <a href=\"https:\/\/businessofcannabis.com\/?keyword=Astrasana\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Astrasana Holding AG<\/a>, further expanding its footprint in the closely watched Swiss market.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now a subsidiary of Canadian producer Organigram, following the completion of its<a href=\"https:\/\/businessofcannabis.com\/organigrams-e250m-acquisition-of-sanity-group-signals-major-vote-of-confidence-for-german-market\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> \u20ac250m acquisition<\/a> earlier this year, Sanity has signed a new deal with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.astrasana.ch\/en\/pharmacies\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bogen Pharma GmbH<\/a>, a subsidiary of Astrasana, to supply its <a href=\"https:\/\/avaay.de\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Avaay Medical<\/a> cannabis products to Swiss patients.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The deal, announced on 15 June, gives Avaay Medical access to Astrasana\u2019s established network of more than 20 Swiss pharmacy partners.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Swiss supply strain<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Switzerland\u2019s medical cannabis market currently serves approximately 6,000 patients. While a fraction of the size, it mirrors its German neighbour in the dominance of flower products and the prominence of telemedicine as a growth driver.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the gravitational pull of Germany\u2019s meteoric growth has drawn flower supply away from adjacent markets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Astrasana\u2019s Managing Director, Yves Antoniazzi, when the Swiss market also began accelerating meaningfully in 2025, existing supply relationships proved inadequate.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe strong demand following legalisation in Germany led to supply bottlenecks for many manufacturers, which often made long-term cooperation difficult,\u2019 Antoniazzi said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWith the Sanity Group and the Avaay Medical product line, we have now found the right partner.
