The brand-new twinjet with its Swiss registration HB-IFA had taken off from Airbus Toulouse in the early afternoon and touched down at its new home base at 15:25 to the warmest of welcomes from numerous aviation fans. The Airbus A350 is the world\u2019s most advanced widebody aircraft, and its addition to the SWISS fleet opens a new business and operating era. With its completely new \u2018SWISS Senses\u2019 cabin, the A350 offers a travel experience that raises comfort, design and technology to new heights. SWISS\u2019s first Airbus A350 landed at its new Zurich home this afternoon (Thursday 9 October) to mark a further milestone for the Swiss-based airline. Three SWISS pilots flew the brand-new long-haul twinjet to Switzerland from Airbus\u2019s Toulouse factory. The aircraft touched down at 15:25, and docked shortly after for the first time at its new home base. The new addition to the SWISS fleet bears a special color scheme: its unique \u2018Wanderlust\u2019 livery<\/a>, which is a striking and lively homage to Switzerland in all its finery and diversity.
