Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf<\/a>, left the negotiation venue in Switzerland for Tehran on Monday after nearly 18 hours of intensive talks and consultations.<\/p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
During the negotiations, the Iranian delegation took part in bilateral and four-party meetings attended by the U.S. delegation as well as Pakistani and Qatari mediators. The delegation presented Iran\u2019s positions regarding the implementation process of the memorandum of understanding and the conditions for entering negotiations on a final agreement.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Following the conclusion of the discussions, Qatar and Pakistan issued a joint statement announcing that the parties had agreed on a 60-day roadmap, the establishment of a high-level committee, and the launch of technical working groups.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to the statement, technical talks will continue in B\u00fcrgenstock through the end of the week.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, expert-level talks between Iran and the United States on mechanisms for implementing the Islamabad memorandum of understanding and establishing related technical working groups are scheduled to begin in Switzerland on Monday under the leadership of Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi. While the main Iranian negotiating delegation has already departed Switzerland for Tehran, the technical discussions are expected to continue as planned.<\/p>\n
