Global reinsurer Swiss Re has announced the launch of a new Group Broker Management Practice, to be led by Matthias Meyenhofer as Group Broker Executive.<\/p>\n

\"\"The new practice is a dedicated unit designed to centralise the management of relationships with primary brokers and intermediaries for the Swiss Re Group.<\/p>\n

By aligning broker integrations across its Group level and its three core business segments \u2013 Property & Casualty Reinsurance, Corporate Solutions, and Life & Health Reinsurance \u2013 Swiss Re aims to bolster strategic engagement, foster deeper collaboration, and improve service standards throughout the organisation.<\/p>\n

Meyenhofer, who will step into his new role in July 2026, will be responsible for strengthening strategic broker relationships and driving greater alignment across Swiss Re\u2019s businesses.<\/p>\n

With over 23 years of industry experience, the executive brings extensive experience to his new position, as well as a proven track record in advancing successful partnerships.<\/p>\n

In late 2022<\/a>, the reinsurer established a broker-dedicated Key Account Management team, and appointed Meyenhofer to lead. He joined Swiss Re in 2020 as Head Large P&C Transactions Continental Europe.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur new Group Broker Management Function will enable us to deliver greater value to our broker partners,\u201d said Andreas Berger, Group CEO, Swiss Re.<\/p>\n
