V nich dosahuje velmi p\u011bkn\u00e9ho v\u00fdkonu, nicm\u00e9n\u011b p\u0159esto je t\u0159eba je br\u00e1t trochu s rezervou.<\/p>\n<p>Nvidia p\u0159edstavuje nov\u00fd serverov\u00fd procesor Vera, kter\u00fd by m\u011bl hodn\u011b zatopit konkurenci na <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer sponsored nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smarty.cz\/procesory-4c14907\">architektu\u0159e x86<\/a>. Vera je postaven\u00e1 na konkuren\u010dn\u00ed architektu\u0159e ARM a jej\u00edmu prosazen\u00ed by m\u011blo pomoci i to, \u017ee nov\u00e9 GPU architektury Nvidie budou p\u0159\u00edmo m\u00ed\u0159eny na tento procesor, zat\u00edmco p\u00e1rov\u00e1n\u00ed s CPU AMD\u00a0a Intelu nebude nativn\u011b podporov\u00e1no. I proto se p\u0159edpokl\u00e1d\u00e1, \u017ee by si Nvidia mohla u\u017e velmi brzy finan\u010dn\u011b <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/svethardware.cz\/article\/nvidia-ohrozuje-x86-na-serverovem-trhu-vera-patrne-ukousne-znacnou-cast\">vz\u00edt \u2154 serverov\u00e9ho trhu s CPU<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Nyn\u00ed se objevily prvn\u00ed benchmarky na serveru Phoronix, kter\u00fd se zab\u00fdv\u00e1 p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm testy serverov\u00fdch platforem na Linuxu, co\u017e je p\u0159esn\u011b n\u011bco, kam Vera spad\u00e1 sv\u00fdm ur\u010den\u00edm.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\tNvidia Vera benchmark<\/p>\n<p>Pr\u016fm\u011br v\u0161ech v\u00fdsledk\u016f vypad\u00e1 pro Veru (88C\/176T) velmi dob\u0159e. P\u0159ekon\u00e1v\u00e1 AMD\u00a0EPYC 9575F (64C\/128T) o 13,5 %, dvouprocesorovou sestavu s t\u00edmt\u00e9\u017e pak o 11 %. Proti Intelu Xeon 6980P (125C\/256T) m\u00e1 navrch dokonce o 55,3 %, nemluv\u011b o 2P variant\u011b, kde jde dokonce o 64,9 %. P\u0159edchoz\u00ed Nvidia Grace pak nov\u00e1 generace p\u0159ekon\u00e1v\u00e1 o 63,1 %.<\/p>\n<p>Tento test m\u00e1 ale jeden h\u00e1\u010dek. I kdy\u017e se prov\u00e1d\u011bl nez\u00e1visle Phoronixem, \u0161lo o testov\u00e1n\u00ed u Nvidie na j\u00ed vybran\u00e9m setu test\u016f, kter\u00e9 m\u00ed\u0159ily na prim\u00e1rn\u00ed nasazen\u00ed Very. V\u00fdsledky tak nemus\u00ed reflektovat skute\u010dn\u00e9 rozd\u00edly mezi platformami, tedy i s t\u011bmi, kter\u00e9 by v\u00edce mohly (ale nemusely) sed\u011bt AMD\u00a0a Intelu.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>P\u0159ipome\u0148me, \u017ee Vera sice vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 architekturu ARM v9.2, ale u\u017e nevyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 n\u00e1vrhy jader samotn\u00e9ho ARMu, ale m\u00e1 vlastn\u00ed j\u00e1dra Olympus. Ta nap\u0159. nab\u00edz\u00ed SMT, tedy 2 vl\u00e1kna na jedno j\u00e1dro. V\u00fdhodou Very by mohla b\u00fdt i spot\u0159eba (tu ale nem\u011b\u0159ili), a to zejm\u00e9na ve srovn\u00e1n\u00ed s Intelem. Samotn\u00fd procesor m\u00e1 450W\u00a0TDP\u00a0a jeho \u00fasporn\u00e9 pam\u011bti LPDDR5X by si m\u011bly br\u00e1t cca 50 W, tak\u017ee celkem 500 W. AMD m\u00e1 konfigurovateln\u00fdch 400 W\u00a0a Intel dokonce 500W\u00a0TDP jen pro procesor, jen\u017ee oba vyu\u017e\u00edvaj\u00ed podstatn\u011b \u017erav\u011bj\u0161\u00ed pam\u011bti DDR5 ECC\u00a0RDIMM, resp.
