Po cest\u011b dlouh\u00e9 t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 11 milion\u016f kilometr\u016f zas\u00e1hla c\u00edl rychlost\u00ed p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b 23 tis\u00edc kilometr\u016f za hodinu a skute\u010dn\u011b zm\u011bnila jeho ob\u011b\u017enou dr\u00e1hu.<\/p>\n<p>NASA misi ozna\u010dila za \u00fasp\u011bch a d\u016fkaz, \u017ee dr\u00e1hu nebezpe\u010dn\u00e9ho asteroidu lze teoreticky upravit. Podle vedouc\u00ed mise Nancy Chabotov\u00e9 z Univerzity Johnse Hopkinse je v\u0161ak realita m\u00e9n\u011b optimistick\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eDART byla skv\u011bl\u00e1 demonstrace, ale nem\u00e1me dal\u0161\u00ed takov\u00fd p\u0159ipraven\u00fd k okam\u017eit\u00e9mu pou\u017eit\u00ed,\u201c upozornila. Nav\u00edc st\u00e1le nezn\u00e1me lokalitu zhruba poloviny asteroid\u016f t\u00e9to velikosti. \u201eMoment\u00e1ln\u011b bychom nem\u011bli zp\u016fsob, jak n\u011bkter\u00fd aktivn\u011b odklonit. Mohli bychom b\u00fdt p\u0159ipraveni, ale nevid\u00edm tomu odpov\u00eddaj\u00edc\u00ed investice.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Odk\u00e1zala se na asteroid YR4 m\u011b\u0159\u00edc\u00ed zhruba 90 metr\u016f, o kter\u00e9m odborn\u00edci loni prohl\u00e1sili, \u017ee s 3,2 procentn\u00ed pravd\u011bpodobnost\u00ed v roce 2032 naraz\u00ed do Zem\u011b. Pozd\u011bji tuto pravd\u011bpodobnost sn\u00ed\u017eili na \u010d\u00edslo bl\u00edzk\u00e9 nule, tak\u017ee nebylo nutn\u00e9 p\u0159ij\u00edmat \u017e\u00e1dn\u00e1 obrann\u00e1 opat\u0159en\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eKdyby se n\u011bco podobn\u00e9ho jako YR4 \u0159\u00edtilo k Zemi, v tuto chv\u00edli bychom nem\u011bli \u017e\u00e1dn\u00fd zp\u016fsob, jak ho aktivn\u011b odklonit,\u201c dodala Chabotov\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>Nov\u00fd teleskop m\u00e1 naj\u00edt v\u011bt\u0161inu hrozeb<\/p>\n<p>Agentura proto pl\u00e1nuje v roce 2027 vypustit misi NEO Surveyor. Jej\u00edm c\u00edlem je b\u011bhem n\u00e1sleduj\u00edc\u00ed dek\u00e1dy odhalit nejm\u00e9n\u011b 90 procent asteroid\u016f v\u011bt\u0161\u00edch ne\u017e 140 metr\u016f.<\/p>\n<p>Samotn\u00e9 nalezen\u00ed potenci\u00e1ln\u00ed hrozby je v\u0161ak jen prvn\u00ed krok. Bez stabiln\u00edho financov\u00e1n\u00ed a p\u0159ipraven\u00fdch obrann\u00fdch technologi\u00ed z\u016fst\u00e1v\u00e1 Zem\u011b podle odborn\u00edk\u016f v\u016f\u010di \u010d\u00e1sti kosmick\u00fdch rizik fakticky bez \u0161t\u00edtu.
