Po dvou letech se objevila v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed limuz\u00edna Xedos 9, kter\u00e1 u\u017e m\u011bla konkurovat n\u011bmeck\u00fdm zna\u010dk\u00e1m ve vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed st\u0159edn\u00ed t\u0159\u00edd\u011b, hlavn\u011b pr\u00fd <a data-dot=\"atm-link\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.garaz.cz\/clanek\/bmw-525i-touring-e34-trocha-prakticnosti-neuskodi-21005627\" class=\"b_X\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">BMW \u0159ady 5\u00a0generace E34<\/a>.\u00a0Australan\u00e9 ji znaj\u00ed jako Eunos 800\u00a0a\u00a0Ameri\u010dan\u00e9 zase jako Mazdu Millenia. D\u00edky jeho peru je mazda s\u00a0d\u00e9lkou 4,83\u00a0metru opravdu l\u00edbiv\u00e1. Mazda se sna\u017eila, a\u00a0proto navrhla auto s\u00a0men\u0161\u00edmi sp\u00e1rami mezi d\u00edly vn\u011b i\u00a0uvnit\u0159 a\u00a0siln\u011bj\u0161\u00edmi vrstvami laku karoserie. Ve vzorn\u00edku byly nejen metalick\u00e9, ale i\u00a0perle\u0165ov\u00e9 odst\u00edny. Nap\u0159\u00edklad tahle zlat\u00e1 barva dlouh\u00e9mu sedanu v\u00e1\u017en\u011b slu\u0161\u00ed. Po modernizaci v\u00a0roce 2000\u00a0se m\u011bnila sv\u011btla, maska a\u00a0n\u00e1razn\u00edky, ale podle mnoh\u00fdch vypadaly star\u0161\u00ed modely l\u00e9pe.<\/p>\n<p><img height=\"2731\"   width=\"4096\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774674671_597_mazda-xedos.jpeg\" loading=\"eager\" decoding=\"sync\" class=\"b_D b_B\"\/>Foto: Martin Palonder<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Podle mnoh\u00fdch nevypad\u00e1 tato faceliftovan\u00e1 verze tak dob\u0159e jako p\u0159edchoz\u00ed varianta.<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Uvnit\u0159 m\u011bly Xedosy m\u00edt ty nejlep\u0161\u00ed dobov\u00e9 plasty. V\u00a0bohat\u00e9 v\u00fdbav\u011b bylo ABS, kontrola trakce, elektrick\u00e9 st\u0159e\u0161n\u00ed okno, klimatizace a\u00a0airbag \u0159idi\u010de. Tento interi\u00e9r je ko\u017een\u00fd, ale mohl tu b\u00fdt i\u00a0velur nebo alcantara. Sedadla jsou \u0161irok\u00e1, ploch\u00e1 a\u00a0velmi pohodln\u00e1. St\u0159e\u0161n\u00ed okno mohlo b\u00fdt vybaven\u00e9 sol\u00e1rn\u00edmi panely a\u00a0nap\u00e1jet topen\u00ed. Po posledn\u00ed modernizaci byla ve v\u00fdbav\u011b navigace, palubn\u00ed po\u010d\u00edta\u010d, elektrick\u00e9 nastaven\u00ed sedadel a\u00a0otev\u00edr\u00e1n\u00ed st\u0159e\u0161n\u00edho okna, audiosyst\u00e9m Bose s\u00a0dev\u00edti reproduktory a\u00a0CD m\u011bni\u010dem, ko\u017een\u00fd paket a\u00a0\u010dty\u0159i airbagy. Plasty mi ale nep\u0159ijdou nijak zvl\u00e1\u0161\u0165 kvalitn\u00ed a\u00a0nav\u00edc maj\u00ed tu nehezkou devades\u00e1tkovou \u0161edou barvu, kter\u00e1 luxusn\u011b nep\u016fsob\u00ed. A\u00a0ty nudn\u00e9 bud\u00edky tak\u00e9 nevypadaj\u00ed n\u00e1padit\u011b. Zavazadlov\u00fd prostor pojme 407\u00a0litr\u016f.<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">A takto vypad\u00e1 reprezentativn\u00ed model od Mazdy dnes\u2026Video: Gar\u00e1\u017e.cz<\/p>\n<p>Vylep\u0161en\u00e1 platforma a\u00a0skv\u011bl\u00e9 \u0161estiv\u00e1lce<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Mazda pou\u017eila platformu TA, o\u00a0kter\u00e9 tvrdila, \u017ee je zcela nov\u00e1. \u0160lo ale o\u00a0upravenou platformu HD z\u00a0v\u011bt\u0161\u00edch model\u016f 929, kter\u00e9 ov\u0161em m\u011bly klasickou koncepci, tak\u017ee pro verzi TA se platforma upravila na modern\u00ed koncepci v\u0161e vp\u0159edu. V\u00edceprvkov\u00e9 zav\u011b\u0161en\u00ed z\u016fstalo, jen vp\u0159edu se p\u0159edn\u00ed rameno ve tvaru A\u00a0m\u011bnilo za prostorov\u011b m\u00e9n\u011b n\u00e1ro\u010dn\u00e9 \u00ed\u010dko. Na v\u0161ech kolech jsou kotou\u010dov\u00e9 brzdy, ty p\u0159edn\u00ed jsou s\u00a0vnit\u0159n\u00edm chlazen\u00edm. Posilova\u010d \u0159\u00edzen\u00ed byl variabiln\u00ed a\u00a0m\u011bnil sv\u016fj \u00fa\u010dinek v\u00a0z\u00e1vislosti na rychlosti a\u00a0za p\u0159\u00edplatek se montovalo i\u00a0\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed v\u0161ech kol.<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Pod kapotou byly nap\u0159\u00ed\u010d ulo\u017een\u00e9 atmosf\u00e9rick\u00e9 z\u00e1\u017eehov\u00e9 vidlicov\u00e9 \u0161estiv\u00e1lce \u0159ady K\u00a0se \u010dty\u0159ventilovou technikou, elektronick\u00fdm vst\u0159ikov\u00e1n\u00edm, t\u0159\u00edcestn\u00fdmi katalyz\u00e1tory a\u00a0rozvodem DOHC. Z\u00e1kladem byl dvoulitr, ale tady m\u00e1me velice kultivovan\u00fd motor KJ-DE o\u00a0objemu 2\u00a0497\u00a0ccm s\u00a0v\u00fdkonem 167\u00a0kon\u00ed (123\u00a0kW) v\u00a06\u00a0000\u00a0ot\u00e1\u010dk\u00e1ch a\u00a0to\u010div\u00fdm momentem 212\u00a0Nm v\u00a05\u00a0000\u00a0ot\u00e1\u010dk\u00e1ch. Tento motor byl u\u00a0n\u00e1s dob\u0159e zn\u00e1m\u00fd, proto\u017ee proh\u00e1n\u011bl i\u00a0popul\u00e1rn\u00ed kulatou generaci Mazdy 626\u00a0s\u00e9rie GE a\u00a0velk\u00e9 kup\u00e9 MX-6.\u00a0K\u00a0motoru je p\u0159ipojen\u00fd \u010dty\u0159stup\u0148ov\u00fd planetov\u00fd automat, nab\u00edzel se ale i\u00a0p\u011btistup\u0148ov\u00fd manu\u00e1l. Automat je velice plynul\u00fd, nep\u0159ich\u00e1z\u00ed \u017e\u00e1dn\u00e1 velk\u00e1 gradace v\u00fdkonu. Zat\u00edmco prvn\u00ed modely m\u011bly lehkou hlin\u00edkovou kapotu, tady u\u017e Mazda \u0161et\u0159ila a\u00a0montovala levn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed, ale t\u011b\u017ekou ocelovou. Hydraulick\u00fd posilova\u010d nepom\u00e1h\u00e1 p\u0159ehnan\u011b, a\u00a0tak je v\u00a0\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed st\u00e1le dost citu. Proto jsou zat\u00e1\u010dky s\u00a0mazdou vlastn\u011b moc p\u0159\u00edjemn\u00e9. K\u00a0tomu p\u0159isp\u00edv\u00e1 i\u00a0specifick\u00fd podvozek, kter\u00fd je dra\u017e\u0161\u00ed, pokud ho nedej bo\u017ee budete muset m\u011bnit. Vp\u0159edu je lichob\u011b\u017en\u00edk se t\u0159emi rameny, kter\u00e1 udr\u017euj\u00ed kolo kolmo k\u00a0silnici i\u00a0na seberozbit\u011bj\u0161\u00edm povrchu. Vzadu jsou dv\u011b pod\u00e9ln\u00e1 ramena se\u00a0dv\u011bma t\u00e1hly. Tak\u017ee ano, po\u0159\u00e1d je to pohodln\u00fd velk\u00fd sedan tlum\u00edc\u00ed v\u011bt\u0161inu nerovnost\u00ed, ale kdy\u017e projedete ost\u0159eji zat\u00e1\u010dku, bude st\u00e1le p\u0159\u00edjemn\u011b agiln\u00ed a\u00a0schopn\u00fd a\u00a0s potla\u010den\u00fdmi n\u00e1klony. Ov\u0161em slu\u0161el by mu ost\u0159ej\u0161\u00ed tah motoru a\u00a0tak\u00e9 p\u0159evodovka pod plynem trochu kope. Po\u0159\u00e1d je to ale jeden z\u00a0nejl\u00e9pe jezd\u00edc\u00edch velk\u00fdch sedan\u016f s\u00a0pohonem p\u0159edn\u00edch kol, kter\u00e9 jsem zat\u00edm mohl \u0159\u00eddit.<\/p>\n<p>Ani j\u00edzdn\u00ed komfort nezachr\u00e1nil prodejn\u00ed \u010d\u00edsla<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Pro klienty a\u00a0automobilku byl nejd\u016fle\u017eit\u011bj\u0161\u00ed j\u00edzdn\u00ed komfort a\u00a0v tom Xedos opravdu vynik\u00e1. Neoz\u00fdvaj\u00ed se \u017e\u00e1dn\u00e9 r\u00e1ny od podvozku, auto na hrbolech neposkakuje, gumy s\u00a0vysok\u00fdm profilem spoustu nerovnost\u00ed odfiltruj\u00ed samy, a\u00a0tak je mazda \u00fa\u017easn\u00e1 na del\u0161\u00ed trasy. Automobilka se chlubila, \u017ee je to nejti\u0161\u0161\u00ed auto na trhu, a\u00a0tich\u00e9 je dodnes, ani \u0161estiv\u00e1lec se do kabiny moc neoz\u00fdv\u00e1. Sloupky toti\u017e vyplnil polyuretan a\u00a0spousta tlum\u00edc\u00edho materi\u00e1lu je i\u00a0na podlaze auta. Sofistikovan\u00fd podvozek ale na \u010desk\u00fdch cest\u00e1ch docela trp\u00ed, p\u0159esto mi Xedos asi nejv\u00edce ze v\u0161ech aut p\u0159ipomn\u011bl v\u00fdborn\u00e9 j\u00edzdn\u00ed vlastnosti m\u00e9ho p\u0159edchoz\u00edho jaguaru. Spot\u0159eba se m\u00e1lokdy dostane pod deset litr\u016f (Mazda p\u0159itom slibovala jen 8,5\u00a0litru), ale d\u00edky n\u00e1dr\u017ei na 68\u00a0litr\u016f nebyl dojezd nijak n\u00edzk\u00fd.<\/p>\n<p><img height=\"2731\"   width=\"4096\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774674671_187_mazda-xedos.jpeg\" loading=\"eager\" decoding=\"sync\" class=\"b_D b_B\"\/>Foto: Martin Palonder<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Dnes je sedan\u016f s\u00a0\u0161estiv\u00e1lcem na trhu docela m\u00e1lo, ale tehdy ho m\u011bla v\u00a0nab\u00eddce kdejak\u00e1 automobilka.<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Xedosy nebyly v\u016fbec popul\u00e1rn\u00ed a\u00a0\u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u00e9 a\u00a0nepomohl tomu ani facelift z\u00a0roku 1998, kter\u00fd u\u017e adaptoval nov\u00e9 logo, ani tento je\u0161t\u011b v\u00fdrazn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed facelift z\u00a0\u010dervence 2000.\u00a0I\u00a0kdy\u017e se Mazda pokusila prodat n\u011bkter\u00e9 sedany v\u00a0USA, nem\u011bla \u00fasp\u011bch ani tam. V\u00a0dom\u00e1c\u00edm Japonsku m\u011bla Mazda dokonce siln\u011bj\u0161\u00ed variantu s\u00a0v\u00fdkonem 200\u00a0kon\u00ed, ale ani tak z\u00a0toho nebyl trh\u00e1k. V\u00a0roce 2002\u00a0byla v\u00fdroba ukon\u010dena bez n\u00e1stupce a\u00a0v n\u00e1sleduj\u00edc\u00edm roce se doprodaly skladov\u00e9 z\u00e1soby. Je to \u0161koda, proto\u017ee Mazda jako jedin\u00e1 ve sv\u00e9 dob\u011b pou\u017e\u00edvala i\u00a0unik\u00e1tn\u00ed \u0161estiv\u00e1lec pracuj\u00edc\u00ed v\u00a0Millerov\u011b cyklu, kter\u00fd d\u0159\u00edve uzav\u00edr\u00e1 sac\u00ed ventily. <\/p>\n<p><img height=\"2731\"   width=\"4096\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/1774674672_903_mazda-xedos.jpeg\" loading=\"eager\" decoding=\"sync\" class=\"b_D b_B\"\/>Foto: Martin Palonder<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Vy si ale n\u011bjak\u00fd ojet\u00fd Xedos koupit m\u016f\u017eete. Bude tedy obt\u00ed\u017en\u00e9 v\u016fbec n\u011bjak\u00fd naj\u00edt, a\u00a0kdy\u017e najdete, skoro ur\u010dit\u011b u\u017e na n\u011bm bude \u00fa\u0159adovat koroze. Ov\u0161em d\u00edky kvalitn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed v\u00fdrob\u011b po\u017e\u00edr\u00e1 Xedos zrzav\u00fd mor m\u00e9n\u011b ne\u017e oby\u010dejn\u00e9 mazdy z\u00a0t\u00e9 doby (jednu m\u00e1m doma, tak\u017ee to v\u00edm z\u00a0vlastn\u00ed zku\u0161enosti). Ov\u0161em na opl\u00e1tku za korozi je Xedos velmi spolehliv\u00fd, a\u00a0to v\u010detn\u011b elektroinstalace, kter\u00e1 b\u00fdv\u00e1 stra\u0161\u00e1kem u\u00a0jin\u00fdch aut t\u00e9 doby. Interi\u00e9r v\u011bkem degradoval a\u00a0plasty na slun\u00ed\u010dku trp\u011bly. Ceny budou sympatick\u00e9 a\u00a0startovat budou na n\u011bkolika des\u00edtk\u00e1ch tis\u00edc za nejhor\u0161\u00ed exempl\u00e1\u0159e, zat\u00edmco jako nov\u00fd st\u00e1l Xedos p\u0159es milion a\u00a0p\u016fl. <\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Jestli m\u00e1te japonsk\u00e9 sedany r\u00e1di, bude se v\u00e1m l\u00edbit. Jeho design toti\u017e st\u00e1rne pomaleji a\u00a0tv\u00e1\u0159\u00ed se jako men\u0161\u00ed auto, ne\u017e ve skute\u010dnosti je. Nav\u00edc budete origin\u00e1ln\u00ed, proto\u017ee j\u00e1 u\u017e dlouho \u017e\u00e1dn\u00fd jin\u00fd Xedos nepotkal a\u00a0v\u011bt\u0161ina lid\u00ed se v\u00e1s bude pt\u00e1t, co to vlastn\u011b je za auto. Tento konkr\u00e9tn\u00ed zapomenut\u00fd elegantn\u00ed kr\u00e1l japonsk\u00e9 zna\u010dky ov\u0161em na prodej nebude a\u00a0z\u016fstane v\u00a0<a data-dot=\"atm-link\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.garaz.cz\/clanek\/galerie-retroautomuzeum-strnadice-626\" class=\"b_X\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Retroautomuzeu ve Strnadic\u00edch<\/a> jako expon\u00e1t. Ale d\u00edky tomu si jej m\u016f\u017eete p\u0159ijet prohl\u00e9dnout i\u00a0vy.
