Poprv\u00e9 se objevilo v\u00a0roce 1934, kdy byla na trh uvedena \u0160koda 420\u00a0Rapid, kterou o\u00a0rok pozd\u011bji vyst\u0159\u00eddal v\u016fz prod\u00e1van\u00fd u\u017e jen jako \u0160koda Rapid.<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bM\">Ozna\u010den\u00ed Rapid pak m\u00e1 vcelku n\u00e1padit\u00fd p\u016fvod. Odvozen\u00e9 je z\u00a0latiny, rapid znamen\u00e1 rychl\u00fd, a\u00a0m\u011blo z\u00e1kazn\u00edk\u016fm jednodu\u0161e nazna\u010dit, \u017ee je Rapid v\u00fdkonn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e model Popular. A\u00a0\u017ee \u0161lo o\u00a0jeho v\u00fdrazn\u011b modernizovan\u00e9 proveden\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bM\">Rapid se za\u010dal vyr\u00e1b\u011bt v\u00a0roce 1984\u00a0a\u00a0v n\u011bkolika r\u016fzn\u00fdch verz\u00edch na trhu vydr\u017eel do roku 1990.\u00a0Ve sv\u00e9 dob\u011b plnil \u00falohu \u201esportovn\u00ed\u201c \u0161kodovky, o\u00a0n\u00ed\u017e snila cel\u00e1 \u0159ada \u010deskoslovensk\u00fdch \u0159idi\u010d\u016f.<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bM\">Pak n\u00e1sledovala op\u011bt del\u0161\u00ed pauza, ne\u017e roku 2012\u00a0dorazil nov\u00fd Rapid, ov\u0161em se zcela odli\u0161n\u00fdm charakterem. \u010cesk\u00e1 automobilka z\u00a0n\u011bj toti\u017e ud\u011blala praktick\u00fd automobil na pomez\u00ed segmentu mal\u00fdch a\u00a0kompaktn\u00edch voz\u016f ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed st\u0159edn\u00ed t\u0159\u00eddy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bM\">Nejprve se za\u010dal prod\u00e1vat jako liftback,\u00a0brzy pot\u00e9 i\u00a0jako hatchback &#8211; a\u00a0v\u00a0obou p\u0159\u00edpadech byl u\u017e vybaven dv\u011bma p\u00e1ry bo\u010dn\u00edch dve\u0159\u00ed. V\u00a0Evrop\u011b se Rapid z\u00a0trhu st\u00e1hl roku 2019, v\u00a0Rusku a\u00a0v \u010c\u00edn\u011b se prod\u00e1val je\u0161t\u011b n\u011bkolik let. Ke sportovn\u00ed karoserii nav\u00edc p\u0159idal sou\u010dasn\u00fd \u0161kodov\u00e1ck\u00fd designov\u00fd jazyk, aby v\u00fdsledek vypadal realisticky.<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bM\">Vzniklo tak dynamicky tvarovan\u00e9 vozidlo, v\u00a0n\u011bm\u017e jasn\u011b vid\u00edme modern\u00ed \u0161kodovku, zejm\u00e9na d\u00edky proveden\u00ed sv\u011btel a\u00a0masky chladi\u010de. P\u0159i pohledu zezadu pak kup\u00e9 p\u0159ipom\u00edn\u00e1 aktu\u00e1ln\u00ed Octavii.
