V\u016fz se tak m\u011bl p\u016fvodn\u011b prod\u00e1vat jako NSU, kdy\u017e v\u0161ak skupina Volkswagen za\u010dala aktivity t\u00e9to extravagantn\u00ed zna\u010dky, proslaven\u00e9 vozy s\u00a0Wankelov\u00fdm motorem, utlumovat, bylo rozhodnuto jej nab\u00edzet se \u010dty\u0159mi kruhy Audi, co\u017e byla naopak zna\u010dka, kter\u00e1 tehdy rychle expandovala.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" height=\"1358\"   width=\"1920\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/audi-50.jpeg\" loading=\"eager\" decoding=\"sync\" class=\"b_D b_B\"\/>Foto: Audi<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Polo bylo p\u016fvodn\u011b d\u00edlem zna\u010dky NSU, na trh se v\u0161ak dostalo jako Audi a\u00a0VW.<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Audi 50\u00a0se za\u010dalo prod\u00e1vat v\u00a0roce 1974, p\u0159i\u010dem\u017e sourozeneck\u00e9 Volkswagen Polo n\u00e1sledovalo o\u00a0rok pozd\u011bji. I\u00a0v tomto p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b \u0161lo o\u00a0reakci na rostouc\u00ed z\u00e1jem o\u00a0takto koncipovan\u00e9 automobily, nav\u00edc tehdy podpo\u0159en\u00fd i\u00a0ropnou kriz\u00ed a\u00a0zdra\u017euj\u00edc\u00edmi palivy. Veden\u00ed Volkswagenu tak d\u00e1valo smysl nab\u00eddnout dva podobn\u011b velk\u00e9 automobily, kter\u00e9 by reagovaly na rostouc\u00ed popt\u00e1vku. Prvn\u00ed Polo s\u00a0d\u00e9lkou 3\u00a0510\u00a0mm a\u00a0rozvorem 2\u00a0335\u00a0mm toti\u017e nebylo o\u00a0tolik men\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e prvn\u00ed generace Golfu uveden\u00e1 v\u00a0roce 1974, dlouh\u00e1 3\u00a0705\u00a0mm, s\u00a0rozvorem 2\u00a0400\u00a0mm.<\/p>\n<p>Existoval i\u00a0sedan<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Design VW Polo se od Audi 50\u00a0li\u0161il vlastn\u011b jen odli\u0161nou maskou s\u00a0logem Volkswagenu, u\u00a0sourozence byly logicky \u010dty\u0159i kruhy, nav\u00edc dopln\u011bn\u00e9 o\u00a0vodorovnou chromovanou linku. Pod\u00edlelo se v\u0161ak na nich tak\u00e9 studio Bertone a\u00a0jeho slavn\u00fd design\u00e9r Marcello Gandini.<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Nab\u00eddka motor\u016f startovala na z\u00e1\u017eehov\u00e9m \u010dty\u0159v\u00e1lci o\u00a0objemu 895\u00a0cm3, kter\u00fd Audi 50\u00a0nenab\u00edzelo. Poskytoval v\u00fdkon 29\u00a0kW a\u00a0spolupracoval s\u00a0pln\u011b synchronizovanou \u010dty\u0159stup\u0148ovou manu\u00e1ln\u00ed p\u0159evodovkou. Z\u00e1kladem se stal \u010dty\u0159v\u00e1lec zmen\u0161en\u00fd na 771\u00a0cm3\u00a0a\u00a0spolu s\u00a0t\u00edm oslaben\u00fd na 25\u00a0kW. Jeden\u00e1ctistovka pak byla dostupn\u00e1 i\u00a0v pos\u00edlen\u00e9m proveden\u00ed o\u00a0v\u00fdkonu 44\u00a0kW.<\/p>\n<p>VW nakonec p\u0159ekonalo Audi<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Volkswagen Polo se sv\u011btu ofici\u00e1ln\u011b p\u0159edstavilo v\u00a0b\u0159eznu 1975, k\u00a0prvn\u00edm z\u00e1kazn\u00edk\u016fm prvn\u00ed kusy dorazily v\u00a0kv\u011btnu t\u00e9ho\u017e roku. V\u00fdrobu zaji\u0161\u0165oval domovsk\u00fd z\u00e1vod automobilky ve Wolfsburgu, kde se produkoval i\u00a0sourozenec ingolstadtsk\u00e9 zna\u010dky.<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Marketingov\u00e9 odd\u011blen\u00ed p\u016fvodn\u011b zva\u017eovalo ozna\u010den\u00ed Euros \u010di Pony, nakonec v\u0161ak zvolilo ozna\u010den\u00ed Polo dle stejnojmenn\u00e9ho sportu, by\u0165 se n\u011bkdy mluv\u00ed o\u00a0inspiraci cestovatelem Marcem Polem. V\u00a0dal\u0161\u00edch letech se ale prodeje rozb\u011bhly, a\u00a0to natolik, \u017ee v\u00a0\u010dervenci 1978\u00a0byla kv\u016fli n\u00edzk\u00e9mu z\u00e1jmu ukon\u010dena v\u00fdroba p\u0159ece jen drah\u00e9ho sourozeneck\u00e9ho Audi 50.\u00a0To Polo pokra\u010dovalo, bylo inovov\u00e1no a\u00a0kone\u010dn\u011b roz\u0161\u00ed\u0159ilo nab\u00eddku, proto\u017ee u\u017e nevadilo, \u017ee by p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 konkurovalo dra\u017e\u0161\u00edmu Audi.<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Debutovala tak i\u00a0sportovn\u00ed verze, tehdy je\u0161t\u011b nazvan\u00e1 Polo GT, s\u00a0dvan\u00e1ctistovkou o\u00a0v\u00fdkonu 44\u00a0kW. Byla tu rovn\u011b\u017e \u00fasporn\u00e1 varianta Formel E s\u00a0litrov\u00fdm \u010dty\u0159v\u00e1lcem o\u00a0v\u00fdkonu 29\u00a0kW a\u00a0speci\u00e1ln\u00ed \u010dty\u0159rychlostn\u00ed p\u0159evodovkou s\u00a0dlouh\u00fdm p\u0159evodem pro sn\u00ed\u017een\u00ed spot\u0159eby.<\/p>\n<p><a data-dot=\"atm-link\" aria-hidden=\"true\" tabindex=\"-1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.novinky.cz\/clanek\/auto-misto-osobaku-bude-volkswagen-v-nemecke-tovarne-vyrabet-vojenska-vozidla-40576008\" class=\"b_X o_gP\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img height=\"1009\"   width=\"1795\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/volkswagen-osnabruck-volkswagen-osnabruck-tovarna-vyrobni-zavod-iron-dome.jpeg\" loading=\"eager\" decoding=\"sync\" class=\"b_D b_B\"\/><\/a>\u00dasp\u011b\u0161n\u00e1 \u0159ada<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Volkswagen Polo prvn\u00ed generace nakonec pokra\u010doval do roku 1981, kdy vzniklo p\u0159es 750\u00a0000\u00a0jeho kus\u016f. Rovnou n\u00e1sledovala druh\u00e1 generace, po pomalej\u0161\u00edm rozjezdu se Polo stalo popul\u00e1rn\u00ed. Zaujalo kvalitou, bezpe\u010dnost\u00ed i\u00a0pohodl\u00edm. Sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed nab\u00eddky Volkswagenu je tak dodnes, na rozd\u00edl od sedanu Derby, kter\u00fd skon\u010dil v\u00a0roce 1984.\u00a0I\u00a0Polo se v\u0161ak muselo p\u0159izp\u016fsobovat dob\u011b, m\u011bnilo tak nab\u00eddku karos\u00e1\u0159sk\u00fdch variant. Nakonec je ale v\u0161echno jinak, p\u0159ich\u00e1z\u00ed <a data-dot=\"atm-link\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.garaz.cz\/clanek\/novinky-ze-sveta-automobilek-volkswagen-ukazal-nove-polo-je-vyhradne-elektricke-ale-povedlo-se-natolik-ze-ho-budete-mit-radi-21016723\" class=\"b_X\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">pln\u011b elektrick\u00e9 ID. Polo<\/a>, po jeho\u017e boku se minim\u00e1ln\u011b n\u011bjakou dobu bude prod\u00e1vat st\u00e1vaj\u00edc\u00ed generace, nad\u00e1le nab\u00edzen\u00e1 se spalovac\u00edmi motory.
