Je to teprve p\u00e1r dn\u00ed, co se zde objevil i\u00a0objekt na\u0161eho dne\u0161n\u00edho z\u00e1jmu, hezk\u00fd Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu z\u00a0roku 1972, tedy doby t\u011bsn\u011b p\u0159ed za\u010d\u00e1tkem ropn\u00e9 krize. Velk\u00e1 trojka musela reagovat hlavn\u011b na \u00fasp\u011bch mal\u00e9ho modelu Rambler od AMC. Zejm\u00e9na jeho t\u0159et\u00ed generace z\u00a0let 1964\u00a0a\u017e 1969\u00a0byla game changerem\u00a0\u2013 jej\u00ed \u00fasp\u011bch byl tak v\u00fdrazn\u00fd, \u017ee donutil giganty k\u00a0radik\u00e1ln\u00ed zm\u011bn\u011b strategie. Tento tlak p\u0159ivedl na trh celou \u0159adu zhruba p\u011btimetrov\u00fdch \u201ekompakt\u016f\u201c\u00a0\u2013 od Fordu Falcon p\u0159es Plymouth Valiant a\u017e po Chevrolety Chevy II Nova (ne\u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u00fd Corvair vynech\u00e1me) a\u00a0dal\u0161\u00ed. Kdy\u017e Ford v\u00a0roce 1962\u00a0p\u0159edstavil mid-size model Fairlane, Chevrolet o\u00a0dva roky pozd\u011bji reagoval p\u0159edstaven\u00edm sv\u00e9 p\u0159edstavy a\u00a0na sv\u011bt tak p\u0159i\u0161la Chevelle.<\/p>\n<p><img height=\"1365\"   width=\"2048\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/1777787231_824_chevrolet-chevelle.jpeg\" loading=\"eager\" decoding=\"sync\" class=\"b_D b_B\"\/>Foto: Ond\u0159ej Kroutil<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Co by to bylo za Ameriku bez \u201efofr\u201c pruh\u016f.<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">V\u016fz st\u00e1l na nov\u00e9 platform\u011b A-body s\u00a0rozvorem 2\u00a0900\u00a0mm a\u00a0v roce 1964\u00a0se stal jedin\u00fdm zcela nov\u00fdm autem na trhu v\u00a0USA. Vyplnil mezeru mezi mal\u00fdm Chevy II a\u00a0plnotu\u010dn\u00fdmi, velk\u00fdmi Chevrolety, jako byla Impala. Pod jm\u00e9nem Chevelle vznikla cel\u00e1 rodina aut, od praktick\u00fdch kombi a\u017e po drsn\u00e1 kup\u00e9\u00a0\u2013 v\u00a0n\u011bkolika tov\u00e1rn\u00e1ch se na A-body platform\u011b montovalo celkem dev\u011bt karos\u00e1\u0159sk\u00fdch verz\u00ed s\u00a0celou paletou motor\u016f, od \u00fasporn\u00fdch \u0161estiv\u00e1lc\u016f a\u017e po ohromn\u00e9 osmiv\u00e1lce. Vrcholnou evoluc\u00ed Chevelle se pak stala druh\u00e1 generace z\u00a0let 1968\u00a0a\u017e 1972, kam pat\u0159\u00ed i\u00a0bronzov\u00e1 k\u00e1ra, kter\u00e1 si bubl\u00e1 jarn\u00ed jiho\u010deskou krajinou. Typick\u00fd tvar lahve Coca-Coly byl nezam\u011bniteln\u00fdm stylem tehdej\u0161\u00edch pony a\u00a0muscle-cars a\u00a0bav\u00ed n\u00e1s dodnes. K\u00f3d potvrzuje, \u017ee se bav\u00edme o\u00a0verzi Malibu Sport Coup\u00e9. N\u00e1zev Malibu je zaj\u00edmav\u00fd\u00a0\u2013 pr\u00e1v\u011b do roku 1972\u00a0toti\u017e p\u0159edstavuje pr\u00e9miovou verzi Chevelle s\u00a0lep\u0161\u00edm interi\u00e9rem a\u00a0bohat\u0161\u00edm polstrov\u00e1n\u00edm. Ale tak\u00e9 s\u00a0chromov\u00fdmi li\u0161tami kolem oken \u010di dal\u0161\u00edmi dopl\u0148ky, kter\u00e9 na p\u0159edstaven\u00e9m kousku bohu\u017eel odv\u00e1l \u010das. Je mi to jedno, jednoduchost se mi l\u00edb\u00ed. Hlavn\u00ed je, \u017ee sklon\u011bn\u00fd p\u0159\u00edstrojov\u00fd \u0161t\u00edt nab\u00edz\u00ed celou sadu velmi hezk\u00fdch bud\u00edk\u016f a\u00a0sedadla typickou m\u011bkkou pohodlnost. Zkou\u0161\u00edm zadn\u00ed sedadla\u00a0\u2013 pod sklem je \u010dlov\u011bk trochu jako ve sklen\u00edku, ale auto je dle na\u0161ich m\u011b\u0159\u00edtek po\u0159\u00e1d dost velk\u00e9 na to, aby se tam dalo docela slu\u0161n\u011b sed\u011bt, i\u00a0kdy\u017e vstup a\u00a0v\u00fdstup vy\u017eaduj\u00ed obratnost.<\/p>\n<p><img height=\"1365\"   width=\"2048\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/1777787232_636_chevrolet-chevelle.jpeg\" loading=\"eager\" decoding=\"sync\" class=\"b_D b_B\"\/>Foto: Ond\u0159ej Kroutil<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Interi\u00e9r je kr\u00e1sn\u00fd, jen ten volant se sem fakt nehod\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"b_bq\">Co m\u011b ale neuchv\u00e1tilo, je p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 mal\u00fd volant, kter\u00fd sice tvarem trochu p\u0159ipom\u00edn\u00e1 p\u016fvodn\u00ed kousek, jen\u017ee jinak je v\u00a0kombinaci s\u00a0velmi p\u0159eposilovan\u00fdm \u0159\u00edzen\u00edm a\u017e moc p\u0159ecitliv\u011bl\u00fd na zm\u011bny sm\u011bru. Vkus je ka\u017ed\u00e9ho v\u011bc, tak\u017ee rad\u011bji p\u0159esunuji masivn\u00ed p\u00e1ku p\u0159ipom\u00ednaj\u00edc\u00ed ko\u0148skou podkovu dozadu na trojku a\u00a0vyr\u00e1\u017e\u00edm. Pod kapotou bubl\u00e1 litinov\u00fd osmiv\u00e1lec OHV GM Chevrolet L48, co\u017e je klasick\u00fd small-block s\u00a0objemem 5\u00a0733\u00a0cm3\u00a0a\u00a0\u010dty\u0159komorov\u00fdm karbur\u00e1torem Rochester. Hodnoty zrychlen\u00ed na stovku neuv\u00e1d\u00ed ani ofici\u00e1ln\u00ed bro\u017eura z\u00a0roku 1972.\u00a0Jen\u017ee to je \u00fapln\u011b jedno, proto\u017ee o\u00a0dynamick\u00fdch schopnostech to \u00fapln\u011b nen\u00ed. Mnohem milej\u0161\u00ed je si v\u00a0pohodl\u00ed jen tak plout a\u00a0nechat odoln\u00fd r\u00e1mov\u00fd podvozek, aby se pohupoval p\u0159es nerovnosti. Svezen\u00ed je docela kultivovan\u00e9 i\u00a0d\u00edky tomu, \u017ee vzadu tuhou n\u00e1pravu dopl\u0148uj\u00ed vinut\u00e9 pru\u017einy nam\u00edsto listov\u00fdch per, co\u017e bylo ve sv\u00e9 dob\u011b docela pokrokov\u00e9 \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed. Pohled pod kapotu ukazuje, \u017ee o\u00a0motor se u\u017e v\u00a0pr\u016fb\u011bhu \u010dasu n\u011bkdo trochu postaral\u00a0\u2013 vid\u00edme chromovan\u00e1 v\u00edka ventil\u016f, modern\u011bj\u0161\u00ed vzduchov\u00fd filtr i\u00a0\u010derven\u00e9 zapalovac\u00ed kabely. V\u016fle v\u00a0\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed a\u00a0podvozku bych \u0159e\u0161il tak\u00e9, stejn\u011b jako slab\u0161\u00ed brzdy. Co se t\u00fd\u010de pruh\u016f, za m\u011b by tam klidn\u011b ani nemusely b\u00fdt, ale ka\u017ed\u00e9ho v\u011bc. Rozumnou a\u00a0odolnou mechaniku symbolizuje klasick\u00fd bublav\u00fd osmiv\u00e1lec Chevy V8\u00a0350, pohodlnou volbou je pak l\u00edn\u00fd automat.
