Wichtiges Samsung-Update schließt kritische Sicherheitslücke – Nutzer müssen jetzt reagieren

Mit dem August-Update schließt Samsung insgesamt 29 Sicherheitslücken. Eine davon wird als kritisch eingestuft.
Samsung hat ein wichtiges Update für etliche Galaxy-Modelle veröffentlicht. Das August-Paket umfasst einen kritischen Sicherheitspatch sowie 28 weitere Hochrisiko-Lücken, die mit Googles Android Security Maintenance Release abgestimmt sind.
Zusätzlich sind 18 Samsung-spezifische Schwachstellen (SVE) behoben worden, darunter Probleme bei der Verwaltung von Samsung-Konten, Systemdienste und Funktionen bei Galaxy Watches wie die Sturzerkennung oder Notrufsysteme.
Samsung-Update von August behebt kritische Schwachstelle
Wichtige CVEs wie CVE-2025-48530 (kritisch) und mehrere hochrangige Schwachstellen werden durch diesen Patch adressiert. Einige zuvor erkannte Sicherheitslücken sind bereits in früheren Updates gefixt, zudem entfällt diesmal ein moderater CVE. Bei den Samsung-Exposures konzentriert sich das Update auf Kernbereiche, die die Betriebssystemsicherheit deutlich stärken.

Auch neue Galaxy-Geräte sowie Enterprise-Modelle profitieren vom Sicherheitsupdate. Allerdings hat Samsung inzwischen einige ältere Geräte wie den Galaxy M32 4G, Galaxy F22 und Galaxy A22 aus dem Update-Zyklus genommen, da sie das Ende ihres Software-Supports erreicht haben.
Für Nutzer bedeutet das Update eine verbesserte Schutzschicht gegen gezielte Angriffe und eine insgesamt stabilere Nutzbarkeit. Die Verteilung des Updates erfolgt schrittweise als OTA (Over-the-Air), zunächst für aktuelle Flaggschiffmodelle wie die S25 Serie, um vor dem kommenden One UI 8 Release die Systeme zu sichern.
