Chris Führich hit a hat-trick and new signing Badredine Bouanani netted his first goal as VfB Stuttgart beat fifth-tier side SG Sonnehof Großaspach 6-2.
VfB were the dominant side against their fifth-tier opponents in what was an entertaining encounter. Goals from Nikolas Nartey (11’), summer arrival Badredine Bouanani (16’) and Yannik Keitel (33’) put Sebastian Hoeneß’ side 3-0 up, but Loris Maier (35’) pulled one back to make it 3-1 at half-time.

In the second half, Chris Führich scored an eye-catching hat-trick (58’, 62’, 72’) as VfB pulled out of sight, with Benedikt Landwehr (81’) reducing the deficit late on.
