50 Tonnen Papier, der vielleicht größte Stimmzettel Deutschlands und so viele Wahlhelfer, wie eine Kleinstadt Einwohner hat: Am 8. März 2026 findet in München wie in ganz Bayern die aufwendigste aller Wahlen statt, die Kommunalwahl. Etwa eine Million Menschen, auch Bürger aus dem EU-Ausland mit Wohnsitz in der Stadt, dürfen dann aussuchen, welche 80 Stadträtinnen und Stadträte die Geschicke Münchens in den kommenden sechs Jahren bestimmen sollen. Und natürlich auch, wer Oberbürgermeister werden soll.
