Ab dem 24. Februar ist nicht nur die S-Bahn zwischen Waiblingen und Bad Cannstatt gesperrt, sondern auch kurzfristig der Leuzeknoten. Experten erwarten erhebliche Einschränkungen.

Wenn vom 24. Februar an die Bahnstrecke zwischen Waiblingen und Bad Cannstatt einen Monat lang für den Zugverkehr gesperrt wird, müssen Pendler und Besucher, die aus nordöstlicher Richtung in die Landeshauptstadt kommen wollen, viel Geduld mitbringen. Auch der oft übliche Umstieg auf das Auto droht dieses Mal zur Staufalle zu werden, warnt die Integrierte Verkehrsleitzentrale Stuttgart (IVLZ). Denn zeitgleich läuft der Neubau des Nesenbachkanals unter der B14. Zudem muss der Leuzeknoten kurzzeitig gesperrt werden.
