2018 war sie die umjubelte Salome bei den Salzburger Festspielen in einer archaischen Inszenierung von Romeo Castellucci, jetzt sang Asmik Grigorian sie erstmals an der Bayerischen Staatsoper. Die litauische Sopranistin triumphierte erneut, brauchte aber etwas Zeit, um sich warm zu singen, sparte vielleicht auch bewusst für das Finale.
