Two locomotives still under steam

The two Liliput steam locomotives „Lisa“ and „Moritz“, which date back to 1925, are a special attraction. They are still in service at weekends and on public holidays. Since 1962 and 1982 respectively, they have been supported by two electric locomotives.

During the approximately 30-minute journey, passengers can discover the most beautiful corners of the 147-hectare park grounds. In total, the park railroad has already transported more than 24 million passengers. It stops at five stations along the 5.6-kilometer route. All stations were renovated for the anniversary last year and the park railway staff were given new uniforms.
