Mit heutigem Datum sind die Z\u00f6lle auf Scotch f\u00fcr Exporte in die USA nicht mehr existent \u2013 zwischen Gro\u00dfbritannien und den USA gibt es diesbez\u00fcglich gegenseitig Zollfreiheit. Diese Vereinbarung wurde nach dem Besuch von King Chales III. in den USA im April von Donald Trump verk\u00fcndet.<\/p>\n

Mit heutigem Tag sind die Zollschranken offiziell gefallen \u2013 ein Umstand, der nat\u00fcrlich in Schottland Freude erweckt. First Minister John Swinney <\/strong>sagt dazu:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe result is a \u2018zero-for-zero\u2019 tariff regime that is a win for Scotland and a win for the United States.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt benefits businesses and workers on both sides of the Atlantic and not just among whisky producers but also the businesses and communities that support the sector across Scotland.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a good day for Scotland.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Und Nodjame Fouad, CEO Pernod Ricard<\/a> Aged Spirits and Champagne division<\/strong>, hat uns \u00fcber die Agentur von Pernod Ricard ein Statement zukommen lassen, dass neben der Freude \u00fcber die neue Situation auch der Hoffnung Ausdruck verleiht, dass die Z\u00f6lle f\u00fcr andere Spirituosenkategorien und produzierende L\u00e4nder in Zukunft ebenso wieder abgeschafft werden:<\/p>\n

\u201eThe return to tariff-free trade for Scotch whisky between the UK and US \u2013 the world\u2019s most valuable Scotch whisky market \u2013 is very welcome news for our industry.<\/p>\n

\u201eThis move will improve access for American consumers to iconic Scotch whiskies such as The Glenlivet, while supporting businesses at home, and strengthening the long-standing trading relationship between the UK and US spirits industries.<\/p>\n
