Es wird viermal t\u00e4glich neu berechnet und liefert Vorhersagen f\u00fcr bis zu 16 Tage im Voraus. Es geh\u00f6rt zu den wichtigsten Wettermodellen weltweit und wird auch in Europa intensiv genutzt.<\/p>\n<p>Das <strong class=\"font-bold\">ICON-Modell<\/strong> ist das Wettermodell des Deutschen Wetterdienstes (DWD). Die Abk\u00fcrzung steht f\u00fcr Icosahedral Nonhydrostatic Model. Es geh\u00f6rt zu den modernsten globalen Vorhersagemodellen und rechnet mit besonders hoher Aufl\u00f6sung, also besonders kleinteilig und detailreich.<\/p>\n<p>Das <strong class=\"font-bold\">ECMWF-Modell<\/strong>, oft auch als EZ-Modell bezeichnet, stammt vom European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts mit Sitz in Reading (Gro\u00dfbritannien).
