Amalia Rivero sitzt an diesem Montag im Tageskrankenhaus von <\/strong>Son Ll\u00e0tzer<\/a>. Es ist ihre zweite Chemotherapie-Sitzung<\/strong>. Doch heute ist etwas anders: Zum ersten Mal testet sie eine Virtual-Reality-Brille,<\/strong> ein neuer Service des Krankenhauses, der Krebspatienten <\/a>die Therapie ein wenig ertr\u00e4glicher machen soll. Nach dem Versuch sagt sie: \u201eEs hat mich sehr entspannt. W\u00e4hrenddessen dachte ich an nichts anderes.\u201c Zwei der drei verf\u00fcgbaren Videos hat sie gesehen \u2013 jeweils etwa 15 Minuten lang. \u201eDie Zeit verging wie im Flug<\/strong>. Ich w\u00fcrde das gerne wieder machen.\u201c<\/p>\n

Mit der Brille will das Krankenhaus die Belastung durch die langen Sitzungen lindern. Diese k\u00f6nnen bis zu sechs Stunden dauern. Die kurzen Filme, meist gef\u00fchrte Meditationen, sollen helfen, Stress und Schmerzen zu reduzieren<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Bislang war das Angebot nur im Universit\u00e4tsklinikum <\/strong>Son Espases <\/strong><\/a>verf\u00fcgbar. Ab sofort k\u00f6nnen auch Patienten in Son Ll\u00e0tzer darauf zugreifen. Die spanische Krebshilfe<\/strong><\/a> (AECC)<\/strong> hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, die Technologie schrittweise in allen \u00f6ffentlichen Kliniken einzuf\u00fchren.<\/p>\n

Positives Feedback von den Patienten<\/p>\n

Umgesetzt wird das Projekt durch geschulte Freiwillige der AECC. Sie begleiten die Patienten w\u00e4hrend der Anwendung und stellen die Technik bereit. Das Projekt wird von Canda Health Solutions finanziell unterst\u00fctzt<\/strong>. Die bisherigen Ergebnisse sind ermutigend: Laut Angaben der AECC verringert sich bei den Nutzern das Schmerzempfinden um 84 Prozent<\/strong>, die Angst vor der Behandlung um 26 Prozent. 88 Prozent der Patienten empfinden die Behandlungszeit mit der Brille als k\u00fcrzer.<\/p>\n

Die balearische Gesundheitsministerin Manuela Garc\u00eda<\/strong> hat sich den neuen Service vor Ort angesehen. Nach dem Selbsttest zeigte sie sich \u00fcberzeugt: \u201eDas Bild ist angenehm, die Stimme beruhigend.\u201c Sie lobte das Projekt als \u201eBeispiel f\u00fcr Humanisierung im Gesundheitswesen\u201c und betonte den Wunsch, Krankenhausaufenthalte so angenehm wie m\u00f6glich zu gestalten<\/strong>. Krankenh\u00e4user seien f\u00fcr viele ein Furcht einfl\u00f6\u00dfender Ort. Umso wichtiger sei jede Ma\u00dfnahme, die den Aufenthalt erleichtert.<\/p>\n

Der Dienst wurde im Februar 2024 in Son Espases eingef\u00fchrt<\/strong>. 76 Patientinnen und Patienten haben dort bisher von der Anwendung profitiert. Begleitet wurde die Ministerin bei ihrem Besuch von Jos\u00e9 Reyes, Pr\u00e4sident der AECC Illes Balears<\/strong>, und Pedro Novas, Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer von Canda Health Solutions<\/strong>. Reyes betonte, das Ziel sei es, \u201eden gr\u00f6\u00dftm\u00f6glichen Komfort f\u00fcr Patienten und Angeh\u00f6rige\u201c zu schaffen. Novas erg\u00e4nzte: \u201eTechnologie ist da, um zu helfen. Mit diesem Projekt wollen wir der Gesellschaft etwas zur\u00fcckgeben.\u201c<\/p>\n
