Juli am Flughafen Dulles. Es ist der gro\u00dfe, internationale Airport in der N\u00e4he der US-Hauptstadt Washington DC. In rund sieben Stunden Flugzeit soll es \u00fcber den Atlantik nach M\u00fcnchen gehen. <strong>Doch schon kurz nach dem Start stimmt etwas nicht. <\/strong>Das linke der insgesamt zwei Triebwerke f\u00e4llt aus. Der Pilot setzt noch im Steigflug einen Notruf ab, will landen. Das Problem: Weil die Boeing 787-8 (auch als Dreamliner bekannt) f\u00fcr den weiten Flug viel Treibstoff an Bord hat, ist sie f\u00fcr eine sofortige Landung zu schwer.
