So betreiben die J\u00e4ger bereits seit Jahren ein Rebhuhn-Monitoring. Dabei erfassen die J\u00e4ger im Sp\u00e4tsommer und Herbst die Familiengruppen, auch &#8222;Ketten&#8220; genannt, so dass Daten zur Fortpflanzung der Tiere gewonnen werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"hrds-copytext__paragraph mt-4 sm:mt-5 text-lg leading-normal sm480:text-xl lg:leading-7.5 dark:text-text-dark\">Nach Angaben der Deutschen Wildtier Stiftung ist die Rebhuhn-Population seit 1980 europaweit um 94 Prozent eingebrochen. F\u00fcr Hessen gingen derzeitige Bestandssch\u00e4tzungen von etwa 2.500 bis 5.000 Brutpaaren aus und damit von einem verh\u00e4ltnism\u00e4\u00dfig hohen Wert.<\/p>\n<p class=\"hrds-copytext__paragraph mt-4 sm:mt-5 text-lg leading-normal sm480:text-xl lg:leading-7.5 dark:text-text-dark\">Bei einer bundesweiten Rebhuhn-Kartierung habe man im Gie\u00dfener Land und in der Wetterau mit gut 4,3 Nachweisen je 100 Hektar Agrarfl\u00e4che die bundesweit h\u00f6chsten Bes\u00e4tze erfasst.
