\u201cWe Bury the Dead<\/a>,\u201d the upcoming post-apocalyptic zombie thriller starring Daisy Ridley<\/a>, has found a home in the U.K. and Ireland.<\/p>\n

The film \u2014 written and directed by Zak Hilditch<\/a> (\u201c1922\u201d) \u2014 has been acquired by Signature Entertainment<\/a> from Neon International. Earlier this year, Vertical<\/a> bought North American rights.<\/p>\n

The survival thriller follows Ava, a desperate woman whose husband is missing in the aftermath of a catastrophic military experiment. Hoping to find him alive, Ava joins a \u201cbody retrieval unit,\u201d but her search takes a chilling turn when the corpses she\u2019s burying start showing signs of life. Alongside Ridley<\/a>, the film star Brenton Thwaites<\/a> (\u201cPirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales<\/a>\u201d), Mark Coles Smith<\/a> (\u201cLast Cab to Darwin<\/a>\u201d) and Matt Whelan<\/a> (\u201cNarcos<\/a>\u201d).<\/p>\n
