Black Bear<\/a> has completed deals including Tobis Film<\/a> in Germany and Austria; Roadshow Films<\/a> and Kismet<\/a> in Australia and New Zealand; Metropolitan Filmexport<\/a> in France; Belga Films<\/a> in Benelux; Ascot Elite in Switzerland; Lusomundo<\/a> in Portugal; Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions in Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, Latin America, the Middle East, South Africa and most of Asia; The Film Group<\/a> in Greece; Top Film in Ukraine and Eastern Europe; Acme<\/a> in the Baltics; Caribbean Cinemas<\/a> in the West Indies; Forum Film<\/a> in Israel; MovieCloud<\/a> in Taiwan; Pioneer Films<\/a> in the Philippines; and Star Entertainment<\/a> in India, among others.<\/p>\n

Directed by David Mich\u00f4d<\/a>, the film has been gaining Oscar buzz since its TIFF premiere with Sweeney<\/a> tipped for a best actress nomination for her transformation into Martin.<\/p>\n
