Das machte die Vorstellung die Branchenanalyse \u201ePlastics the Fast Facts 2025\u201c von Plastics Europe erneut deutlich. Der Verband, der nach eigenen Angaben rund 90 Prozent der europ\u00e4ischen Polymerproduktion vertritt, pr\u00e4sentierte im Rahmen der K-Messe in D\u00fcsseldorf gestern alarmierende Zahlen zur Produktionsentwicklung und zu den wirtschaftlichen Rahmenbedingungen der Branche.\n<\/p>\n<p>Virginia Janssens, Managing Director von Plastics Europe, betonte dabei, dass Europa im globalen Wettbewerb an Boden verliere. Der europ\u00e4ische Marktanteil an der weltweiten Kunststoffproduktion habe sich seit 2006 von 22 auf nur noch zw\u00f6lf Prozent im Jahr 2024 nahezu halbiert.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend Europa auf der Weltb\u00fchne an Bedeutung verliert, haben vor allem asiatische Hersteller ihre Pr\u00e4senz ausgebaut &#8211; und zwar\u00a0sowohl bei der Prim\u00e4rproduktion als auch im Kunststoffrecycling&#8230;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Die europ\u00e4ische Kunststoff- und Kunststoffrecyclingbranche steht am Scheideweg.
