BAFTA nominee John Hannah<\/a> is set to lead \u201cDeath in Benidorm<\/a>,\u201d a new detective drama series launching on the Paramount Skydance-owned U.K. network Channel 5<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The show \u2014 which is currently a working title \u2014 comes from Blackbox Multimedia<\/a> and Clapperboard<\/a> and centers around Dennis, a former detective trying to escape his past who swaps the chaos of the U.K. for a quieter life running a bar in Benidorm. But when tourists start turning up dead, he\u2019s reluctantly drawn back into detective work \u2014 egged on by his barmaid Rosa<\/a>, a crime drama superfan.<\/p>\n
