Er kam zur Notoperation ins Krankenhaus, wie die Polizei mitteilte. Der 31-J\u00e4hrige \u00fcberquerte demnach am Freitagabend den Columbiadamm an der Friesenstra\u00dfe. Laut Zeugen soll die Fu\u00dfg\u00e4ngerampel zu dem Zeitpunkt f\u00fcr ihn Rot gezeigt haben. Das Auto eines 58-J\u00e4hrigen, der in Richtung Platz der Luftbr\u00fccke unterwegs war, erfasste den von links \u00fcber die Stra\u00dfe laufenden Mann. Er wurde den Angaben zufolge erheblich am Rumpf verletzt und brach sich ein Sprunggelenk.
