Zu Jahresbeginn wies das Bundesland 3.357 solcher Schnittstellen auf, wie aus einer Statistik der Bundesnetzagentur aus Bonn hervorgeht. Im Vergleich zum Jahresbeginn 2024 ist die Zahl der Ladepunkte damit um 22 Prozent gestiegen. Je 100 Plug-in-Hybriden und batterieelektrischen Fahrzeugen stehen im Schnitt 5,6 Ladepunkte bereit. An einem Ladepunkt kann ein einzelnes E-Auto aufgeladen werden.
