Sie l\u00f6ste einen regelrechten Bauboom am Elbhang aus.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-18 leading-17\">Die Dresdner Schwebebahn feiert Geburtstag: Am 6. Mai wird sie 125 Jahre alt. Die Bahn nach dem System des K\u00f6lner Erfinders Eugen Langen ging 1901 in Betrieb \u2013 nur etwa zwei Monate nach ihrem Wuppertaler Pendant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-18 leading-17\">274 Meter lang, 84 Meter H\u00f6henunterschied: Die Bergschwebebahn verbindet Loschwitz mit Oberloschwitz. Laut den Dresdner Verkehrsbetrieben forderten Grundst\u00fccksbesitzer am Hang damals eine Anbindung an ihre Anwesen. Es folgte ein Bauboom. In dieser Zeit entstanden zahlreiche Villen im Jugendstil.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-18 leading-17\">Erfinder Eugen Langen erlebte die Jungfernfahrt nicht mehr.
