As metaphor, \ufeff<b class=\"font_caslonIonic _dsp-inline _bxs-border-box _ww-break-word _ws-pre-wrap _mt-0px _mr-0px _mb-0px _ml-0px _col-inherit _ff-f-family _fw-700\">Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny<\/b> (1930), composed by Kurt Weill with words by Bertolt Brecht, is as subtle as a head\ufeffbutt. Little happens. The text goes round and round with the obliviousness of a pub bore. You know you\u2019ve heard it all before, but unfortunately lost the subject of the sentence early on. Never mind. The gist yells at you.
