TEKEVER Selected for the British Army\u2019s Next-Generation Tactical UAV Programme<\/p>\n
TEKEVER has been selected by the United Kingdom\u2019s Ministry of Defence (MoD) as the selected contractor for Project CORVUS, the programme designed to replace the British Army\u2019s ageing Watchkeeper WK450 Tactical Unmanned Aerial System (UAS). The award represents one of the UK\u2019s most significant tactical drone procurements in recent years and confirms TEKEVER\u2019s emergence as a leading European defence technology company.<\/p>\n
According to the official announcement published by TEKEVER on July 24, 2026, the company will deliver its AR5 unmanned aerial system under Project CORVUS as part of a long-term partnership with the British Army. The programme is expected to support the UK\u2019s future Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) capability while reinforcing sovereign industrial capacity through manufacturing in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n
Industry reports indicate that the programme could be worth up to \u00a3400 million over ten years, with an initial procurement of six aircraft and the potential acquisition of up to twenty-four systems by 2029.<\/p>\n
The UK Government has also stated that Project CORVUS forms part of its wider Defence Investment Plan to modernise battlefield capabilities while strengthening the domestic defence industrial base. The programme is expected to support hundreds of highly skilled jobs through UK-based production and engineering activities.<\/p>\n
