has been accepted into the Defence Industrial Base Consortium (DIBC), positioning the company within North American defence and critical minerals supply chains.

The consortium supports collaboration between industry and government stakeholders to strengthen strategic supply chains and accelerate capability development.

Acceptance provides Green Technology Metals with access to a network of US Department of Defence stakeholders, industry participants, and technology developers, enhancing opportunities for future collaboration, innovation, and strategic funding initiatives.

The positioning also complements the company’s continued engagement across Canadian federal and provincial government initiatives supporting critical minerals development, infrastructure, and downstream processing.

Green Technology Metals recently announced C$500,000 ($508,212) in non-repayable funding through the <a href="http://www.ontario.ca/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow evaluate process waste streams from the company’s proposed <a href="https://mining.com.au/traces-of-lithium-emerging-everywhere-a-quarterly-perspective/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer CMIF) to support shovel-ready construction of enabling infrastructure studies associated with the Jackfish Road corridor, an important component in advancing the Seymour Project.

Funding will provide up to C$1.5 billion through 2030 to support strategic mining and infrastructure projects.

Managing Director Cameron Henry says acceptance into the consortium, combined with continued engagement across Canadian federal and provincial initiatives, reflects increasing alignment between the company’s strategy and broader government priorities around critical minerals security, infrastructure, and resilient allied supply chains.

“We believe our Ontario asset base positions Green Technology Metals to support the development of secure North American lithium supply while advancing Ontario’s role in the emerging battery materials ecosystem,” Henry says.

<a href="https://mining.com.au/company/green-technology-metals-limited/"
