While the majority of attending businesses were local to Brisbane, representatives also attended from the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Fraser Coast, Western Australia, Victoria, and New South Wales. Participants were selected via an expression of interest process based on their capacity to support upcoming supply chain requirements.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">Billed as the largest industrial undertaking in Australian history, the next-generation submarine project will depend on contributions from suppliers across every state and territory. ASC and BAE Systems are aiming to identify and develop local capability by drawing on existing domestic expertise in major naval programs, such as the Collins-class submarine sustainment, Hobart-class destroyers, and Hunter-class frigates.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">The national roadshow is structured to give potential suppliers clearer visibility on technical standards, emerging contracts, and long-term procurement schedules.
