{"id":6352,"date":"2026-08-11T17:08:07","date_gmt":"2026-08-11T17:08:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/defence\/6352\/"},"modified":"2026-08-11T17:08:07","modified_gmt":"2026-08-11T17:08:07","slug":"lockheed-martin-unveils-strigo-product-center-for-accelerated-development","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/defence\/6352\/","title":{"rendered":"Lockheed Martin unveils Strigo Product Center for accelerated development"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/defense-and-tech\/article-903287\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lockheed Martin<\/a> announced the launch of Strigo, a new defense system that integrates radio-frequency (RF) sensors, missile datalinks, and missile seeker technologies on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>According to the announcement, Strigo solution systems can be configured and adapted for use in a variety of missions, such as air defense, missile defense, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/defense-and-tech\/article-903045\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">surface-to-air<\/a> engagements.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Lockheed Martin also announced the establishment of a dedicated product center to support Strigo, a move that is intended to advance the new solution system\u2019s concept-to-delivery model.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">The Strigo Product Center, which was created less than two years before its announcement, houses operations for developing and producing new RF sensor and missile technologies, in addition to serving as a storefront for the system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">&#8220;By putting proactive research and development at the forefront, the Strigo Product Center lets us test and deploy new solutions at unprecedented speed,\u201d Lockheed Martin Sensors and Global Sustainment vice president and general manager Stacy Kubicek said of the new system and center. \u201cThat&#8217;s how we turn &#8216;what if&#8217;
