{"id":7015,"date":"2026-08-18T12:12:10","date_gmt":"2026-08-18T12:12:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/defence\/7015\/"},"modified":"2026-08-18T12:12:10","modified_gmt":"2026-08-18T12:12:10","slug":"poland-orders-hundreds-of-chassis-for-waran-4x4-heron-6x6-tactical-vehicles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/defence\/7015\/","title":{"rendered":"Poland Orders Hundreds of Chassis for Waran 4\u00d74, Heron 6\u00d76 Tactical Vehicles\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/dronefront.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">&#13;<br \/>\n    <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/defence\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1787055130_469_WhatsAppVideo2026-05-15at09.23.58.gif\" alt=\"The Drone Front\" width=\"1280\" height=\"539\"\/>&#13;<br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Polish state-owned defense manufacturer Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW) has ordered several hundred chassis from CSG Group companies to license and produce Waran 4\u00d74 and Heron 6\u00d76 tactical vehicles for the Polish Armed Forces.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of the three contracts, worth more than 150 million euros ($174 million) in total, two cover 4\u00d74 chassis for Waran 4\u00d74 multipurpose tactical vehicles in various configurations, including a command vehicle for the Missile and Artillery Forces.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The third order covers 6\u00d76 chassis for Heron 6\u00d76 armored vehicles, including a command variant for Missile and Artillery Forces units equipped with Homar-A and Homar-K multiple-launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The contracts also include assembly kits, with deliveries scheduled to be completed by the end of 2029.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe signing of these agreements marks the continuation and expansion of the CSG Group\u2019s strategic cooperation with the Polish defence industry,\u201d\u00a0 President of the Management Board of CSG Polska Wojciech Grzonka <a href=\"https:\/\/csg.com\/en\/news\/csg-signs-contracts-with-hsw-worth-over-eur-150-million-to-supply-to-poland-with-hundreds-of-chassis-for-multipurpose-tactical-vehicles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis cooperation provides significant support for increasing the defence capabilities of the Land Forces and enables the rapid delivery of top-quality products.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our technological cooperation with Huta Stalowa Wola already has a fairly long history, and CSG is ready to develop it further, including through the implementation of new business models.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Waran, Heron<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Waran 4\u00d74 and Heron 6\u00d76 multipurpose vehicles produced by HSW are based on CSG Group\u2019s Patriot II and Tadeas platforms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following technology transfer and industrial cooperation with CSG companies, HSW has begun series production of both vehicles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Polish Armed Forces has already received several dozen Waran 4\u00d74 vehicles in various configurations, including platforms for the Gladius unmanned search-and-strike system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Heron 6\u00d76 is similarly designed as a versatile wheeled platform for multiple configurations, including command, troop transport, carriage of weapons and specialized equipment, and medical evacuation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"&#13;
