{"id":8713,"date":"2026-09-02T17:24:29","date_gmt":"2026-09-02T17:24:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/defence\/8713\/"},"modified":"2026-09-02T17:24:29","modified_gmt":"2026-09-02T17:24:29","slug":"egypt-bosnia-seek-closer-defence-industry-cooperation-at-sarajevo-expo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/defence\/8713\/","title":{"rendered":"Egypt, Bosnia seek closer defence industry cooperation at Sarajevo expo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Minister of State for Military Production Salah Suleiman Gomblat said Egyptian-Bosnian relations are gaining momentum as the two countries seek to expand cooperation in defense manufacturing and develop new industrial partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>Gomblat made the remarks while attending the opening of the First Balkan Shield \u2013 Defense Industry Expo and Summit 2026 in Sarajevo, which runs from Sept 1 to 4 and brings together government officials, defense industry executives and experts from several countries.<\/p>\n<p>The minister said that Egypt\u2019s participation provides an opportunity to discuss cooperation with companies and institutions taking part in the exhibition and explore potential industrial partnerships involving companies affiliated with Egypt\u2019s Ministry of Military Production.<\/p>\n<p>During the event, Gomblat met Bosnia and Herzegovina\u2019s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Zukan Helez at the Egyptian pavilion.
