The Australian Missile Corporation has selected Dassault Syst\u00e8mes\u2019 CATIA and SolidWorks applications powered by its 3DEXPERIENCE platform to support the company as it rapidly designs, simulates, tests and manufactures systems under Australia\u2019s Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Enterprise.<\/p>\n
The Australian Missile Corporation has selected Dassault Syst\u00e8mes\u2019 CATIA and SolidWorks applications powered by its 3DEXPERIENCE platform to support the company as it rapidly designs, simulates, tests and manufactures systems under Australia\u2019s Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Enterprise.<\/p>\n
Dassault Syst\u00e8mes was selected for its best-in-class model-based systems engineering capabilities \u2013 proven to operate in secure environments \u2013 and established expertise in aerospace and defence, built over decades of supporting mission-critical programs globally.<\/p>\n

The deployment comes as Australia scales domestic guided-weapons manufacturing under the GWEO Enterprise, backed by up to $21 billion in government investment over the decade.<\/p>\n

This is reinforced by the 2026 National Defence Strategy, released in April, which places renewed emphasis on self-reliance and the resilience of Australia\u2019s sovereign defence industrial base.<\/p>\n

An Australian-owned, independently operated company, AMC is an industry partner of the GWEO Group in establishing a domestic GWEO manufacturing capability. AMC works alongside strategic defence partners and Australian industry to build the sovereign capability the Australian Defence Force needs for guided weapons and explosive ordnance.<\/p>\n

AMC will deploy Dassault Syst\u00e8mes\u2019 CATIA and SolidWorks applications across the full engineering life cycle of its GWEO-related programs, from defining and managing mission and system requirements through to systems-level design and validation, enabling greater rigour, consistency and traceability in the development of complex defence systems.<\/p>\n

Integrated into AMC\u2019s existing engineering environment, Dassault Syst\u00e8mes\u2019 applications enable end-to-end, model-based engineering across the full life cycle of defence programs while complementing existing systems.<\/p>\n

Central to this deployment is a secure, on-premise digital engineering environment designed to meet stringent defence requirements.
