The event provides participants with an opportunity to explore the latest innovations and advanced industrial technologies and discuss ways to enhance international cooperation across various defence and security industries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Minister expressed his sincere wishes for the success of the First \u201cBalkan Shield\u201d Expo and Summit in achieving its objectives and creating promising opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and expertise, as well as for building cooperative partnerships in defence manufacturing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gemblat noted that the Ministry of Military Production\u2019s participation in the exhibition reflects the close relations between the two countries, which continue to gain momentum with the support of the political leadership in both friendly countries. He added that, during the exhibition, he would focus on exploring areas of joint cooperation with a number of participating entities and receiving technical delegations at the Ministry\u2019s pavilion to showcase the manufacturing and technological capabilities of companies affiliated with the Ministry, as well as to discuss opportunities for establishing joint strategic industrial partnerships. He also planned to visit the pavilions of companies representing various countries to review the latest manufacturing technologies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The opening ceremony included the screening of a film highlighting the exhibition, its exhibitors, and Bosnia and Herzegovina\u2019s defence industries, which have a history spanning more than 75 years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wednesday, September 2 <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between Military Production Companies and Turkey\u2019s MKE <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi regarding the importance of building strategic partnerships with fraternal and friendly countries and strengthening international cooperation across various fields, Dr. Eng. Salah Suleiman Gemblat, Minister of State for Military Production, witnessed, in the presence of the Turkish Deputy Minister of Defence, the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Heliopolis Company for Chemical Industries (Military Factory 81) and Helwan Company for Engineering Industries (Military Factory 99), both affiliated with the Ministry of Military Production, and T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s Mechanical and Chemical Industries Corporation (MKE).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Minister noted that the signing reflects the Ministry of Military Production\u2019s keen interest in opening new horizons for industrial partnerships between its affiliated companies and their Turkish counterparts in areas of mutual interest, particularly in light of the advanced capabilities and expertise of companies on both sides in the defence industries. He added that the agreement would support the exchange of technical and technological expertise and make use of the manufacturing capacities available to both parties.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For his part, the Turkish Deputy Minister of Defence highlighted the continued development of relations between the two countries and both sides\u2019 efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation in a manner that serves their shared interests.
