At a meeting in Kyiv, the Air Force Capability Coalition also considered creating a dedicated fund to coordinate support and accelerate priority projects.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives from Ukraine, the Netherlands, Denmark, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada attended the meeting. The coalition\u2019s secretariat and working groups reviewed progress, current requirements and the next stages of capability development.<\/p>\n<p>Participants also met Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Sergiy Boyev and a working group led by Lieutenant General Anatolii Kryvonozhko, Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The talks focused on matching international assistance with Ukraine\u2019s current and future aviation needs.<\/p>\n<p>The coalition\u2019s priorities include developing aviation infrastructure, training personnel and sustaining capabilities already in service. They also cover building helicopter capacity and expanding defence-industrial and military-technical cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>Participants discussed establishing an Air Force Capability Coalition Fund to improve coordination between supporting countries. The proposed mechanism would also help secure financing for projects requiring faster implementation.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine thanked participating countries for their continued support and joint work on Ukraine\u2019s air capabilities.
