If LEGO can’t get enough of one theme in recent years, it’s definitely the Botanicals. Today a set has surfaced that wasn’t included in any of the upcoming set lists so far, but apparently is supposed to be released this year: the LEGO Botanicals Hanging Golden Pothos (11512). The set, which once again contains dual-colored LEGO leaf elements, was leaked by a retailer and we have all the currently available images and info for you.

Thanks to retailer Spar.at we have the first three official images of the LEGO Botanicals Hanging Golden Pothos (11512), which, like most LEGO Botanicals from recent years, is aimed at adult LEGO fans with an 18+ rating. The set isn’t listed at LEGO.com yet, but will probably appear there in the coming weeks.

The LEGO Hanging Golden Pothos consists of 372 pieces. No release month for the set is listed at spar.at and isn’t known elsewhere either, though a release in August 2026 alongside other Botanicals sets seems likely. We also don’t have the US-price yet, but $49.99 seems likely.

When the green plant is built and arranged as LEGO’s “serving suggestion,” the build is approximately 27 cm (10.5 in) wide and 30 cm (12 in) high according to the info on the box back.

The info so far summarized:

Set number: 11512
English name: Hanging Golden Pothos
Pieces: 372
Minifigures: 0
Age: 18+
Price (RRP): €49.99
Release: ?

Also interesting is the fact mentioned at the beginning that the set hasn’t appeared in any list of sets still coming out this year. The most likely explanation for this is probably that it’s a (partially) exclusive set, since Spar.at at least occasionally lists other (partially) exclusive sets (see here and here).

Exciting new parts in the set

Among the 372 pieces are a total of over 40 leaves, including at least twelve dual-colored leaves that feature a color gradient from LEGO Green to Lime Green. This isn’t completely new, as the Magnolia Flowers (11510) first appeared in March of this year with a color gradient from pink to white. This is made possible through a so-called color co-injection molding process, where two differently colored plastics are injected into the mold one after another, creating the characteristic irregular color gradient.

Besides the leaves, new white slopes (Cone Quarter 6 x 6 x 2/3) are used for the curves at the top of the pot, which LEGO first used in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier (76354). There’s also the Hinge Cylinder 1 x 3 Locking (54662) now available for the first time in Bright Green, after the part has existed since 2007 and was previously only available in white, black, gray, and briefly in orange. Also new are the “end piece” Hinge Cylinder 1 x 2 Locking (53923) and the tail tip (40379), both also in Bright Green. If you discover any other new parts, please let us know in the comments.

How do you like this first look at the LEGO Botanicals Hanging Golden Pothos (11512)? Can you get excited about the dual-colored elements? And what’s your general impression of LEGO Botanicals and the flood of new products from the world of ABS flora? Feel free to write us in the comments.
