In case you missed it, yesterday was the International Day of Play, a global day of all things play, driven by the United Nations to champion, protect, and preserve children’s fundamental right to play.

LEGO also celebrated its World Play Day, with 2026’s theme being Never Stop Playing, which featured Jason Momoa fronting the campaign to encourage kids, adults and everyone in between to make space for a little more play in their lives.

On World Play Day, LEGO employees globally are also treated to a “day off” where no work is done, and instead play all day. LEGO employees have been sharing their experiences online of how they’ve celebrated Play Day. Check out this video from The LEGO Group CEO Niels B Christiansen on LinkedIn.

Another little bonus that LEGO Group employees get is a special Play Day set, and 2026’s edition is a Play Box, featuring the iconic Wooden Duck, and a very cool play feature! Check out some previous Play Day sets like 2024’s Unplug and Play or 2023’s Mysteries of Play.

There aren’t any exclusive parts, so anyone can re-create this model easily! For your convenience, here’s a Pick a Brick online link with most of the elements in the parts list, so just add them to your cart and order the right quantities as per the instructions, or you can always use your own parts to build this.

Do note that the following elements listed below aren’t available on Pick a Brick at this moment, and there’s one new element that is used in the set, however, you’re free to colour swap the elements, as it doesn’t affect the functionality.
