LEGO Maersk is back! Here’s your first official look at 40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel which will set sail into your collection on 1 March 2026!
This 1,516-piece model will be a LEGO.com / LEGO Store exclusive and will be the very first LEGO Maersk set in 12 years, after 2014’s Creator Expert 10241 Maersk Line Triple-E.

This new model lets you build the Ane Maersk, an industry-leading sustainable ship capable powered by state-of-the-art dual-fuel engine that is capable of running on green methanol.
Unfortunately, the old Maersk Blue colour isn’t making a comeback..

Long-time LEGO fans will know that LEGO and Maersk (two of Denmark’s best known companies) go way back with sets dating back to the 1970s.
The LEGO Group (owned by Kirkbi) and Maersk (owned by A.P. Moller Holding) are family-owned titans of Danish industry, with the founding families among some of the wealthiest Danes. There’s a deep connection with both companies, with members of AP Moller sitting on LEGO’s Board of Directors, and LEGO’s current CEO, Niels B. Christiansen has also previously served as a Board Member of A.P. Moller Maersk as well.
As you can see from the sets above (check out Brickset’s list of Maersk sets), there is deep heritage and history between both brands, and I’m glad that we’re finally getting another Maersk set in 2026.
Here’s a really cool throwback video to the last Creator Expert Maersk Triple-E ship from 2014, featuring LEGO Masters USA host, and LEGO Icons Creative Lead Jamie Berard!
