LEGO is releasing sets based on the K-Pop Netflix film and Derpy & Sussie are making the start. The August release has now been officially revealed and pre-orders for the big blue tiger and the magpie have started. We have all the images and info on the KPop Demon Hunters collaboration and the first model of these fan favorites.
The K-Pop film was 2025’s worldwide success from streaming service Netflix and in February the LEGO KPop Demon Hunters sets were officially announced. Now we have the images for the first release and more models are set to follow later.
LEGO 72537 Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird
While the animal duo Derpy & Sussie aren’t actually the main characters in the Netflix mega-hit film, for the first LEGO set these two magical creatures get to take the stage starting August 1st, before the three protagonists and lead singers of the fictional K-Pop girl group HUNTR/X appear in the future. For the RRP of $69.99 / £59.99 / €69.99, you build the big blue tiger and the black-and-white magpie from 825 pieces, which together form the inseparable duo that carries messages between Jinu and Rumi.
The brick-built creatures use several printed pieces, especially for the eyes, but also for Derpy’s numerous claws. Sussie wears the black hat she stole from the tiger, and the flower pot that Derpy knocks over in true cat fashion is also included in the set. The tongue can hang out of the mouth or not, depending on preference.

Derpy and Sussie don’t have a huge role in the KPop Demon Hunters film, but they’ve developed into fan favorites due to their cute appearance and the funny dynamic between the two speechless creatures, who have already inspired further merchandise. When are more LEGO KPop Demon Hunters sets coming?
But where are the three singers and demon hunters from HUNTR/X, the fictional K-Pop band from the film? Rumi, Mira and Zoey are of course the real main characters of the Netflix film and will surely come in LEGO sets in the future. Because already in the press release in February it was announced that only LEGO 72537 Derpy & Sussie would be released this year, but then more models will follow in 2027. Then we can definitely expect sets featuring HUNTR/X and maybe the Saja Boys too.
We don’t know exactly when and how many sets will be released yet, nor whether the sets will include minifigures. But we could imagine that the LEGO KPop Demon Hunters theme, which targets teens aged 9 and up, would rather use the minidolls for the figures, which were also used for LEGO Wednesday.
