In Vilnius, during the celebrations marking the 163rd anniversary of the January Uprising, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda received the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. The event took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, underscoring the strong relations between the two countries.

The event also included the First Ladies of Ukraine and Lithuania, which added a ceremonial and intergovernmental dimension to the occasion.

Today at 3:20 p.m. in Vilnius, a trilateral meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and the presidents of Poland and Lithuania is planned, aimed at strengthening coordination among the countries on common priorities.

It was also noted that Zelensky had arrived in Lithuania to take part in the January Uprising anniversary celebrations.

According to Rafal Leshkevich, spokesman for Polish President Karol Navrotsky, the participants will discuss not only the ceremonial aspects of the events but also important political issues in the region.

Substantive format of the meetings and future plans

During the visit, an exchange of views on bilateral cooperation and regional issues is expected, with an emphasis on the shared interests of Ukraine, Lithuania, and Poland.

In addition, the parties will consider prospects for expanding cooperation in security, energy, and the economy, taking into account the contemporary challenges in the region.
