GreenTech Amsterdam 2026 brought the global horticulture industry together, from growers and breeders, investors and suppliers. Held from 9–11 June at RAI Amsterdam, it served as a dynamic platform for innovation, knowledge exchange, and collaboration.
The event welcomed 11,600 visitors from 123 countries, highlighting its strong international appeal. The top five visiting countries were the Netherlands, the Republic of Korea, Germany, Belgium, and the United Kingdom. Visitor numbers from France, Spain, Greece, and Turkey also increased, reflecting growing interest from key European markets and beyond.

With 37 Innovation Award submissions and the introduction of the new ‘Impact Award’, we see how the industry is stepping up to address its biggest challenges, from labour shortages and energy use to sustainability and the adoption of AI and robotics. AI is increasingly becoming part of this transition, not as a controller, but as a conductor, enabling growers to orchestrate their crops.
The presence of high-level delegations, including ministers from the Netherlands, UAE, Qatar, Kazakhstan and Brazil, underlines the global importance of horticulture in securing resilient food systems. Combined with visitors from 123 countries and 33 international delegations, this confirms GreenTech’s position as the must-attend worldwide epic centre of horticulture.”
