Amsterdam Fire Department gets $340K for new ambulance

Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara announced $340K for the Amsterdam Fire Department.

AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (WNYT)- Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara announced funding for a new ambulance for the Amsterdam Fire Department.

According to Santabarbara, the $340,000 will be used to buy a new ambulance for the fire department.

Santabarbara said this will allow crews to respond faster and make sure needed equipment is available and accessible.

He said it will also help crews provide life-saving care when needed.
