A Missouri man was killed after his pickup truck struck a utility pole, flipped over and ejected him from the vehicle Sunday morning.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says the 38-year-old Warsaw man was driving a 2006 GMC Sierra eastbound on U.S. 50, west of Route Z in Johnson County, Missouri, around 9:40 a.m. when the truck veered off the roadway, struck a pole and rolled over.

The crash ejected the driver.

The Johnson County, Missouri, Sheriff’s Office assisted the Missouri State Highway Patrol with the investigation.
