FONDA, NY (WNYT) – A jury found 38-year-old Naturalwise Joseph of Colonie guilty Monday for the death of 37-year-old Ricardo Lopez back in 2021.

A jury convicted Nautralwise Joseph for shooting and killing Ricardo Lopez back on Hibbard Street back on March 12, 2021.

NewsChannel 13 obtained video where one can hear the sound of a gunshot. Video also shows Nautralwise Joseph and Ricardo Lopez walking together on Hibbard Street minutes before the deadly shooting.

Montgomery County District Attorney Christina Pearson said this case presented significant investigative challenges.

“There was no murder weapon. There were no casings at the scene. No DNA evidence was collected,” said Pearson. “Hours upon hours of, video was watched not only during the time frame of the shooting that before and after.”

The jury found Joseph guilty of murder, criminal possession of a weapon, tampering with physical evidence, and petit larceny Monday after a two-week trial.

Nautralwise Joseph is scheduled to be sentenced on September 29th in Montgomery County Court.

Nautralwise Joseph is already serving an 18-year-to life prison sentence after being sentenced back in 2022 in Albany County Court. This comes after he admitted to killing a 39-year-old man in Albany back in 2021.
